April In the Woods

In mid April I went for a walk on a trail near my house . the trees had all the new leaves , and the sun was seeping through the leaves , it looked beautiful , it looked as though the sunlight was dancing through the leaves . There was new grass on the ground , the canopy of the leaves on the trees shaded the pathway, when the breeze moved the branches the sunlight danced through it . the terrain is very uneven , and the grass does not get mowed , it gave an impression of being in a huge jungle . I wanted to capture the different greens and it shadow light play.  I think I have captured what I set out to do. this work is painted on archival watercolor paper, and comes matted with a board backing in  a plastic sleeve .
