Still life

this particular painting is one of my first still life , I had won an honorary  award at the local art league . I have had it packed up all these years and just came across it. It was a great challenge to paint the red onions in alizarin red , without letting it bleed , and keeping the transparency intact. It was a great exercise , I learned from it a lot.  This painting is painted on an archival watercolor paper and comes matted and in a plastic sleeve. Please leave a comment or a question .
