I have always loved the delicacy and intricate colors of the Iris, I had planted it in my backyard, they bloomed every year. Giving pleasure every time. This year I decided to capture its beauty and delicacy on paper. I ventured out to paint in watercolor, it was a challenging subject, took me a long time to accomplish what I set out to do. It is painted on archival watercolor paper with an archival 3" bordered Matt . The overall dimension is 19 3/4 "x16 3/4 ", with a 1 1/4" wide wooden frame, with a non glare glass, and a picture cutout of 11 1/2" x 8 3/4" It can be shipped anywhere in the country.
