A Man With Dreads

I came across this gentleman at the African Art Museum , I almost asked him how much did his hair weigh , he carried himself very well , and so I started thinking that in India there are many women who had long hair they they carried it effortlessly.  It was a museum event  and I felt he was engrossed in the program , I just drew his sketch and later perfected it to my imagination . All that hair took a long time for me to render . The consolation to me was I did not sit for my hair to be braided . I drew this first with a micron pen and then refined it on my device with an ink wash , and  yellow paint. This painting comes printed on an archival paper,  matted with a board backing , in a plastic sleeve . Please contact me if you have any questions, comment or suggestion.
